Issues Economic Impact Studies & Cultural Plans

On December 3,2001 the Joint Legislative Committee on the Arts held an interim hearing, The Arts Advantage to California in the Changing World, and heard three hours of testimony from experts around the state.

"The arts have become intricately woven into California's economy and identity and we must find ways to foster and increase arts opportunities throughout the state."
